Our proof is given in parallel with each type of factors and it is based on the strategy of Haagerup. As a consequence, the uniqueness theorem of injective factors except type III$_0$ follows from Araki-Woods' result.

Does a one-to-one function exhibit "injectiveness" or "injectivity"?
WebIn mathematics, an injective function (also known as injection, or one-to-one function) is a function f that maps distinct elements of its domain to distinct elements; that is, f(x 1) = f(x 2) implies x 1 = x 2. (Equivalently, x 1 ≠ x 2 implies f(x 1) ≠ f(x 2) in the equivalent contrapositive statement.) In other words, every element of the function's codomain is the … In mathematics, an injective function (also known as injection, or one-to-one function) is a function f that maps distinct elements of its domain to distinct elements; that is, f(x1) = f(x2) implies x1 = x2. (Equivalently, x1 ≠ x2 implies f(x1) ≠ f(x2) in the equivalent contrapositive statement.) In other words, every element of the function's codomain is the image of at most one element of its domain. The term one-to-one function must not be confused with one-to-one correspondence that refers to bijective … WebMathematics Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for people studying math at any level and professionals in related fields.
