WebMay 9, 2024 · I moved into a house near the tracks just over a year ago.. 500 ft with one row of houses between us and the tracks. I would guess we get between 15-20 trains a day. The trains noise "rumble" is peaceful to me. Once or twice a day we get a idiot conductor that likes to lay on the horn but most you barley hear.
