But when watching from remote it says forced subtitles direct stream even though the rest is being transcoded and the subtitles won't show up. I'm grateful for any help, thanks! The way you describe doing it, you're burning it into the film, i.e. the subtitles are put on top of the video, and you cannot ever disable them because now they are part of the video file.
