The trail itself is paved, with little elevation. It's a good one for hiking with children and/or dogs. We parked at the Frenchman's Bar Regional Park ($3 fee) so we'd be near a restroom. Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park has eight sand volleyball courts. Nets are typically up between May 15 and Sept. 15. The sand courts can be reserved by the hour or by the day for a fee.
