WebJan 22, 2016 · Reputation: 1. RE: iPXE and WDS Config. For what it's worth, if it's what you are trying to do, you can have iPXE boot directly to a WDS server, that is not the TFTP server. Here is the code I've used successfully (as a iPXE script): Code: set wdsserver:ipv4 10.0.3.99. set net0/next-server $ {wdsserver} WebJun 19, 2024 · Environment: Windows 2012 R2 running WDS -> Configured as PXE Server. WebJul 12, 2024 · The WDS is a Windows 2012R2 and the client is a DELL Optiplex 790. The way the VLAN for the client was setup originaly it ran a DHCP with the Nameservers specified and DHCP Options enabled (boot server, boot file and option 60 set to PXEClient (String)).
